Wedding Present Ideas

The wedding season is upon us. Wondering what to buy?

When I scroll down wedding gift lists, I tend to feel rather uninspired by the options given to me - so many white towels, white bed sheets, plain cutlery.... I want to get something for my friends that will stand out. Something that will bring a smile to their face when they see it. A present which they will never forget who gave it to them.

We have gathered a few of our own products that really hit the nail on the head as a memorable and striking wedding presents, as well as some stunning products from Isabel Fishlock that we absolutely love.

For the absolutely unforgettable present, our range of silver tableware is a must. All hand-made in collaboration with artisans out in Mexico. Created from recycled, hand-beaten copper, finished in a double coating of Mexican Silver and adorned with birds and other fauna, mosaicked in Abalone shell, Malachite or Lapis Lazuli stone.

Whether brought out for special occasions, or left out on display all year long, these silver delights will be sure to grab attention.

Our tasseled napkin range are another fabulous wedding present option. Each napkin is bursting with colour and character, ready to bring any dinner party alive. They are a collaboration between our in-house design team and our master weaver. Hand-spun, hand-dyed and hand-woven with true expertise and care. They can all be machine washable, phew!

We recently had the pleasure of meeting Isabel Fishlock and seeing some of her  simply gorgeous bone china collection, adorned with buzzing bees and cheeky frogs. The Magic & Myth Collection is inspired by the romance of ancient English folklore. Once seen as rulers of the earth or as symbols of fertility or healing, frogs have always been a source of mystery and fascination.  Bees are linked with magic, love, industriousness and creativity and could therefore only be represented in the precious metals of gold and platinum seen on these beautiful ceramic pieces.

Each frog, bee and gold rim is hand or screen printed before being fired in small batches. So don't wait around - check out her latest stock now!
